Asked many times what kinda songs do you write? What genre are they? Who’s your audience? I have one simple answer and let me be clear they’re SONGS FOR OLD MEN. Songs of my life, wisdom acquired by memories and a clear outlook that I ain’t dead yet so I keep bringin’ it.

This is the first single of the 3rd album of a trilogy. The title of the album may be Songs for Old Men. I hope you enjoy it and the songs to come. Bonus if the songs bring a smile or a tear or maybe you dance a step or two.

Chartin' somewhere near two, I should be up around ten

I don't have much time a lot left to do

So I'd better get started written songs for old-men.



You know most of my life, I thought I cared

But lookin' back now I was mostly just scared

I made some mistakes at least one or two

now I'm makin' it through writtin' songs for old men

a couple 'bout heartbreak love old and new

Songs about cryin', whiskey and beer

Songs about livin' and dyin' in fear



As I lay on the table lights growing dim

The man in the mirror could I be him?

I see the resemblance we look somewhat the same

But as God stands beside me I don't know his name.

One or two about moonlight stealing a kiss

Songs of redemption yeah, I know Amen

Let me be clear they're songs for old-men.



And if there's a heaven or if it's hell

you won't find no answers when you walk to the well

It isn't a choice not even of when

So I'll keep on writing' songs for old-men.
